Build Your Business Bootcamp

Build the foundation for a thriving construction business.

Building structures is one thing—but building a successful business? That’s where we come in. The Build Your Business Bootcamp bridges the gap between your trade skills and the business knowledge needed to thrive in the construction industry.

This 8-week virtual program is designed for early-stage firms up to those who have been in business for up to three years. The dynamic workshops are designed to equip early-stage contracting businesses with the business tools and strategies for success.

  • Human Resources

  • Finance & Accounting

  • Certifications

  • Doing Business With the City of Columbus

  • Customer/Client Sales & Retention

Eligibility

  • Construction-focused businesses in the ideation stage or in operation under 3 years

  • Firms in Franklin County

​

Important Dates

  • Application Deadline: Monday, May 26 at midnight

  • Bootcamp Schedule: Workshops held via Zoom on Thursdays from June 5 – July 31, 2025 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
