Writing a Business Plan and Capability Statement

You will be provided with an outline and the resources to assist you in completing a functional business plan as well as strategies for developing a marketing tool to accurately and efficiently describe your business and its capabilities.
Kim A. Knights has worked in the community, business and economic sector since 1989. In her various corporate roles, she has worked in the areas of planning, development and administration of agency/programmatic objectives, budgetary and customer business analysis. She has a degree in business and is certified as an economic development finance professional, business analyst, and NXLEVEL and FASTTRAC administrator.
Lunch is being provided for all participants at no charge. However, "no shows" will be assessed a $10 fee to cover the cost of a pre-ordered lunch if cancellation is not received 24 hours prior to the event.
This training is a part of the Lunch and Learn series sponsored by the Economic & Community Development Institute (ECDI) under the Capital for Construction program. (The Capital for Construction program provides low-interest advance payments to qualified minority contractors to help address financial gaps in performing work on construction projects when payment is delayed.)
The Lunch and Learn series provides an excellent opportunity to network with other minority contractors and learn more about issues of importance in the industry as well as the services that are available to you at ECDI. There is no fee for these classes.
