Columbus: class: Capital for Construction: Financial Fundamentals

Training will be provided on the key credit attributes lenders review when extending credit, specifically focusing on working capital (aka Lines of Credit).  Key areas of focus will be on the different types of Financial Statements, quality of the Financial Statement, Balance Sheet analysis, Sources and Uses of working capital as well as how the Income Statement and Statement of Cash Flow are interlinked together with the Balance Sheet.  In addition, training will include a high-level review of how lenders utilize SBA to help mitigate areas which do not fully meet the lenders’ requirements for conventional lending. 


Presenter Background:

Jeffrey Adair is an Executive Director with JP Morgan Chase overseeing the commercial lending Division of the Midwest within Business Banking and has over thirteen years of experience in various commercial lending roles, primarily focused within the small business segment.  Jeffrey is originally from Youngstown, OH and holds a Bachelors of Finance as well as a MBA from Tiffin University.
