Columbus: High Pressure Pasteurization - In partnership with The Growing Collective

Most food products need to be pasteurized before it can be sold to a customer for consumption by USDA regulations, and normally, food is pasteurized using heat, not anymore with HPP! What the heck is HPP? Well, it’s actually High Pressure Pasteurization or High Pressure Processing. This method of food processing is much different from the norm, as it uses extreme pressure to kill off foodborne pathogens while locking in the fresh state of foods. This locked-state allows for shelf life extension 2-10X the normal shelf life from normal heat pasteurization, giving HPP users access to markets all across the country. In this class we will go over all the added benefits of HPP and how you can utilize this technology to scale your business.
